Walled City of Chester!

As part of my first visit to England, Jim said that he wanted to show me another one of the historic cities.

On a rainy day, we headed for Chester! It started off gloomy due to the weather yet the city is the exact opposite.

It was indeed one of the preserved jewels of the English heritage.

It showcases the beauty of the past but still manages to effectively mix---"old and new".

Roaming around on foot gave us ample time to appreciate what Chester has to offer. We could honestly state that the beauty of Chester lies on how they managed to preserve its original architecture and blend it so wonderfully with modern-day life.

For any shopaholic, Chester is a city worth-well visiting.

 You can also find many fine and unique places to dine and relax.

Here's a shop that offers appetising dishes. If you check out the walls, you will see handwritten compliments from their diners.

On the day we left Chester, we decided rather than just travelling back home---we would detour to Chester Zoo.

Not a zoo that I got used to in the Philippines. It was entirely an awesome place to be with family.

 One could actually see how the administration try to manage the animals in simulating their own habitat.

Check out these lovely giants. Howdy elephy?

===AN AWESOME PLACE TO BE...===
